Some useful headings/ideas for discussion here as Churches ask themselves about their engagement with young people. United Methodist Reporter Article
The heading entitled “You engage with the real issues of the world” is a pertinent one for me after encountering a teenager who’d gone to Church just after the horrific events in Paris … but was perturbed that no mention was made of the events at all.

Gravity Force

I love Gravity Force! A whole warehouse of trampolines built into the floor (and in fact angled ones in the walls) that include obstacles, foam cube pit, dodgeball court and more.
Unbelievably good fun albeit exhausting … from the bouncing, the falling, and the laughing. SO much fun.

Justin Welby on Youth Ministry

Young people are not just a “category” but should be treated as individuals, the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, told the congregation at the commissioning of the new headquarters of youth charity Youthscape on Sunday. He challenged youth workers to “stop just entertaining young people and help them hear the call of Jesus”, before saying that “every time we see evidence of a young person being transformed, we see Jesus.”
