EPIC and other useful stuff for Discipleship

I've just been dipping into Leonard Sweets book "The Gospel According to Starbucks" and wanted to make a note of his dimensions of meaningful faith communication with his EPIC acronym, 'EPIC:'

Images (that give sense and meaning)

I'm recording it here so I can find it again, especially as I seem to be speaking often on Discipleship next year at all sorts of gigs. I guess I'm collecting tools to help unpack what a lived out faith that sees a person growing, looks like; and the points of connection. I'm adding 'EPIC' to Kenda's

(here) and to the interesting list of dimensions of a great brand from a Marketing Book ..... I love this list and use it in youth ministry training to help people unpack dimensions of the gospel that connect with young people:

A lots of thinking, praying going on but it's a great journey to be on exploring my own life as a Disciple of Jesus AND what might be helpful to others. This is forming some of the stuff for the DEPTH retreat and for the Ski Trip I am Minister to (might even be the first trip EVER where the input is in a use-able shape before the trip starts).
