The Girls Brigade are part of a consortium awarded £10 million to develop youth work in targetted areas of the country. You'll find more details here!
"The money, which is ring-fenced by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), is to be used specifically to set up new groups and encourage new volunteers, so more opportunities are provided for children and young people.
GB will now appoint five development workers in areas identified by the DCLG - Manchester, Birmingham, London, Bradford and Middlesbrough - as well as a funding officer and project administrator"
I'm posting this as a good news story but also because it represents some exciting job opportunities and they are obviously keen to find the right people.
All information and specific details are available at the bottom of this page.

The applies to the Boys Brigade as well.
That's great news. I had a look on the BB website but couldn't see anything about this. Can you point me to a link?
Thanks
