Our Church is changing the way we organise Youth Ministry. The biggest change was deciding that an employed Youth Minister was no longer going to head up the work with young people. The PCC have decided instead to give the responsibility to the Curate whilst re-looking at what we do and how we do it. Big challenge.
As part of those discussions it was put to me that maybe I should step down from the 14+ team to give the curate the space to develop the team and work in their own way. (There was also the fact that due to my job I cannot make it every week). After some musing (and a little mourning) I have seen there may be some wisdom in this and am stepping down from the team.
Musing about where to get involved instead seeing as I am a (youth) Minister without Portfolio
