It's only one week until the Diocesan Camp, Yellow Braces. On Monday I move into the pre-event phase that I like to call 'Headless Chicken' as I dash around stockpiling stuff ready and compiling endless lists.
One thing that I really need some help with is the craft ideas. Pat (blog commenter) is going to help me BUT I'd welcome some additional recommendations of easy to use craft ideas.
So, what works? What have you come across? You get the idea ...... ideas! (and the craftier the better)
As ever, thanks SO much

craft download splurge commence:
Origami templates on flickr and elsewhere?
foam shapes always a winner - addition of magnets/badge clips makes them more fun
the ever popular friendship bracelets
and modelling balloons
clay
You could go for mug painting - people could even customise the one they've brought with them or take a blank one they've blinger home.
p.s. you've given me YB home sickness again :o(
t-shirt designing is always a good one. Fabric pastels and pens are quick and easy to use.
photo frames are good too - paint, colour, stick things to them, whatever. You used to be able to get 3 for a £1 at IKEA.
I've also done kite making recently. Great as it then produces an activity to do afterwards!
Tile painting/drawing is always good and cheap. Normally use them as tea light holders or pot stands afterwards.
I had to lead the craft activity at the toddler group yesterday. We did finger painting and hand prints. I wrote Psalm 139:6 and put that God knows us, even our finger prints! Incidentally, I have done something similar with teenagers but it is much much more stressful working with a group of 2 year olds, There was a lot of creativity though...
