Like a lot of Youth workers (and especially those who operate in a number of settings) I have an impressive collection of CRB certificates. My portfolio ranges from rare 2002 editions right through to current examples in both voluntary and paid capacities.
Today though was truly bizarre! Two turned up on the same day!! What are the chances of that? (I guess it's a very positive example of double-checking).
I have a Sept 2002 disclosure, I feel I should frame it somewhere. I got it when going to work for a church, but with the occasional work at a local primary school in which one of the teachers who had just started was held back because her CRB didn't come through in time.
The turn around for them is quite impressive these days I find (that's if you've not made the dreaded "not overlapping addresses mistakes" or if you've not lived abroad in the last five years).
Just filled another one in this morning. I thought I had a lot before but I've had four more since changing jobs and no doubt more to come!!
