The world of Youth Ministry

It’s another one of these random notice sheets where i just chuck stuff onto a virtual youth ministry notice board and see whether anyone feels the need to scribble some info onto their pda/diary/hand ‘cos it looks useful!
So …… The World of Youth Ministry!
I wanted to flag up again the ASBO certificate, it’s genius, USE IT! MENCAP are running an anti bullying campaign that’s around the experience of young people with learning disabilities. Issue 15 of JAM Magazine is now available! James e-mailed me with a Christian Web browser he’s designed, you may want to take a look. Worth noting that Children in Need is the 16th November, great opportunity for fundraising for a good cause while a lot of fun-raising too 🙂
Within the Diocese:
12th November, High Wycombe: Enthusing Young People for Mission (see extended entry)
24th November, Youth Focus training day is full
Christmas, Wayne Dixon (Slough) invites you to see the work they do with ALL the primary schools in the area. Download file
And finally: If you would like to bring some income in for the youth group ‘we need a Wii fund’ then you may want to track down this missing pet ….

  1. Wii fund – having been asking for donations for parish youth work (wanting to buy a Wii) for a few weeks, but with no actual results, David stepped out in faith and bought one with the budget we wanted in order to present the YP with the gift on the day we had promised. We didn’t want to let them down. 3 days later we were given a cheque for the exact amount! Praise God!

  2. Dear Pastors, Church Family and Prayer Partners.
Greetings from Nepal in the name of Lord Jesus Christ.
I am writing this letter to share you the ministry that has been going on in Nepal.
After restoration of the democracy in Nepal, the country has just turned into secularism from a particular one.
In this contest, many people are turning to Christ, and many are seeking to turn to Christ. Now they need what the Lord and church really are. So I feel, it is necessary to conduct various programs on Christ, out-side of the church also.
In addition, I am planning to organize “Frontline Shepherds Conference” in the near future. And we will share together ideas and views of christianities by organizing international conference in the days to come.
For the purpose, need some fund. Our ministry have no fund for that. So I am praying for some financial support by your spiritual institution or church and prayer for those pupose.
As well as, the payment for groceries credit built-up in my ministry and some creditors have been asking me for the bills we owe.
Please pray and consider helping and rescuing us from these difficult circumstances. I need your prayer contribution for all these needs. So that I could serve the Lord freely in Nepal.
I have not mentioned you requesting amount, it is optional. You can contribute whatever you afford or the prayers whatever can uplift for my request.
However, please note that, I am desperately submitting this request to you and I am optimistic that you will support me whatever you can.
I am waiting to hear responce positively from you.
If you would like to contribute please deposit the funds in the following bank address below. If you feel easy to donate the support by WUMT or IME you can do so. If so, provide me the informations (Money Transfer Control No) via at my e-mail also.
We will be praying for you here.
Your little support will be great for ministry in Nepal.
    God bless you.
    Thanks.

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
